Éditus was founded in 1990 and is one of the Costa Rican musical projects with greater projection and prestige at national and international level
.
In 2000, Rubén Blades (Panamanian singer/songwriter) and ÉDITUS received the Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Performance of 2000 for the album "Tiempos".
Subsequently, in 2003 Rubén Blades and ÉDITUS won two more Grammy Awards in the categories "Best World Music Album" and "Best Tropical Contemporary Album" for the
album "Mundo".
In 2008 Editus toured 40 concerts in major cities in Japan, Taiwan and Korea.
Its members have recorded with artists such as John Patitucci, Abraham Laboriel, Lito
Vitale, Pedro Eustache, Eric Marienthal, Jorge Strunz, Dominic Miller, Alanis Morissette and
Vinnie Colaiuta, among others.
